The Adobe Creative Suite is the Premier software for Graphic Designers, Photographers, and more. Our Creative Station PC includes the following programs:
Photoshop Elements—Image editing & compositing
Lightroom—Digital photo processing and editing
Illustrator—Vector graphics and illustration
InDesign—Page design for print and digital publishing
Photoshop - Image creation & editing
Premiere Pro—Video production and editing
After effects—visual effects/motion graphics
Adobe xD - Design web & mobile apps
Adobe Media Encoder - Encode audio & video
Reservations
Please call the Reference Desk 508-696-4210 or email [email protected] to reserve your time slot. Reservations can be made up to one week in advance. A library card may be required. Please note that you may lose your reservation if you are more than 10 minutes late to your session.
Time Limits
Use is limited to a maximum of two hours per day.
Users may request additional time at the Reference Desk. Additional time beyond two hours will be granted at the discretion of the librarian on duty.
The CS closes 15 minutes before the library closes.
Guidelines
Users are expected to have a working knowledge of the equipment and software. Staff cannot help patrons for extended periods or perform work for them.
All general behavioral guidelines for the library apply.
A maximum of two people are allowed to use the Creative Suite at any one time.
The individual whose library card is on file while using the Creative Suite will be considered the main user and is responsible for any damage or misuse of the equipment, even if a group is working on a project together.
No food or drink allowed near the Creative Suite.
Priority will be given to users who are working on digital media projects (videos, music, websites, photo editing, scanning). Users who are using the Creative Suite for web browsing will be asked to use the other adult internet stations in the library.
Patrons working with audio or video will be asked to use headphones in order to minimize noise.
Patrons should not install any programs on the Creative Suite without permission from the librarian on duty.
Printing is available via the library’s print management system.
Personal information, saved passwords, web history, and files created while using the Creative Suite are automatically deleted at the end of each session.
Users must save their work on an external memory source. USB flash drives are sold at the Reference Desk.
