The Library Building at 200 Main Street has reopened!

The Library Building at 200 Main Street reopened July 21st 2026 following renovation!

The town received bids in March 2025 for the general contractor for the planned renovation and addition project, which is now underway. During the renovation the library building at 200 Main Street will be closed to the public, and library staff will provide services from our satellite location at 15 Church Street.

Working with the Town Administrator and other Town Departments, The Library Board of Trustees has undertaken a project for critical repairs to the existing library building, and the construction of a meeting room addition.

An open, spacious, and well-ventilated space for our community is more important than ever. The expanded and redesigned interior and exterior spaces will provide the flexibility the library requires to provide future services with greater safety and comfort.
