The Library Building at 200 Main Street will close for renovations April 16th, 2025.

During construction, visit the interim library at 15 Church Street starting April 22nd.

The town received bids in March 2025 for the general contractor for the planned renovation and addition project, which is now expected to begin in mid-April. When construction is underway, the library building at 200 Main Street will be closed to the public, and library staff will be providing services from our satellite location at 15 Church Street. More details will be announced soon, through our newsletter and on the website.

Working with the Town Administrator and other Town Departments, The Library Board of Trustees has undertaken a project for critical repairs to the existing library building, and the construction of a meeting room addition.

An open, spacious, and well-ventilated space for our community is more important than ever. The expanded and redesigned interior and exterior spaces will provide the flexibility the library requires to provide future services with greater safety and comfort.
