Martha's Vineyard CLAMS Library cardholders can access the New York Times and Washington Post online for free using your library card, made possible by the Martha's Vineyard Library Association with support from Friends of island libraries.
Washington Post
To access the Washington Post online click HERE and enter the required fields to create a Washington Post account for unlimited 7-day access. Renew your seven day pass by returning to the library website. You may use this login and password for every future visit to the Washington Post online.
New York Times
To access New York Times online click HERE and enter the code c59d2806040934a2. Then create a username and password for unlimited 3-day access. Renew your three day pass by returning to the library website. You may use this login and password for every future visit to the New York Times online.
Anyone who lives, works, or owns property in Massachusetts can apply for a Boston Public Library eCard, for free online access to the Boston Globe and Wall Street Journal. Use the links below to sign up for a free temporary account, that can be renewed as needed.
Boston Globe
To access Boston Globe online click HERE. Access will be available for the next 3 days (72 hours). A limited number of passes may be issued each day. After 3 days, simply come back and click the above link again and register again to regain access.
Wall Street Journal
To access Wall Street Journal online click HERE. Access will be available for the next 3 days (72 hours). A limited number of passes may be issued each day.
After 3 days, simply come back and click the above link again and login as an existing user with the same username and password you originally created.
Articles can be accessed back to January 1, 1997, but not market data or stock quotes from charts.

Anyone who lives, resides part-time to attend school, owns property, or works in Massachusetts can access additional online resources for reading, education, and entertainment by registering for an eCard from Boston Public Library. Online eCard registration is easy and free, and provides access to all of thelibrary's digital resources including the following:
Hoopla Streaming Media
Movies, TV shows, music, eBooks, and comics for online streaming or download to mobile devices, with no waiting lists. Borrow up to 10 items per calendar month.
PressReader
Color full-page and article reproductions of thousands of U.S. and international newspapers and magazines, including the Boston Herald back to Nov. 24, 2003. Coverage: usually current 3 months or more.
RBdigital Audiobooks & Magazines
Over 20,000 audiobooks and full-color popular magazines available to stream or download to mobile devices. Most magazines (English, Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese) are available with no waiting lists, no checkouts, and no limits.

Learn how to use your CLAMS Library Card to enjoy entertainment and learning resources including borrowing ebooks and audiobooks on Overdrive, streaming movies on Kanopy and Hoopla, taking classes online through Universal Class and Lynda.com, and taking advantage of other online resources through the Vineyard Haven Public Library and the Boston Public Library e-card program (free to all who live, reside part-time to attend school, own property, or work in Massachusetts.)

Thirty-minute appointments are available on Monday afternoons between 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
